Welcome. Welcome to another school year. I am your new science teacher for this year. I am looking forward to excellent school year in which is my fifth year in TMSA. My name is Mr. Ilbay. I graduated Bachelor of Arts degree at Division of Science Education 2012. I graduated my master program at NC A&T University MS Instructional Technology 2018. I also have my North Carolina Teaching license (SP2) on grade level of 6-12 (2014). I am interested in reading books, and discover the nature and history, visit the recreational places like zoo, museums, and historical places. I am also interested in sports, swimming, soccer, basketball and weightlifting. In this year, we will be focusing on, forces and motion , energy; transfer and conservation , earth system and processes, structures and functions of living organism and genetics and evolution Other than learning their basic science facts, the learning that takes place in my classroom is very hands-on, real-world problem solving. Students will be working collaboratively in groups using their thinking skills to solve practical problems. As I witnessed first-hand last year, students are much more likely to be successful when parent – teacher – student communication is strong. Please feel free to let me know of any questions or concerns that you may have about your student’s progress. In turn, I will keep you informed of classroom activities, homework assignments, and any issues that may arise involving your student. You can reach me at [email protected] or by contacting me through the my website – ailbay.weebly.com Looking forward to meeting and working with you, Mr. Ilbay
